Job Description

Aforza is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our talented Professional Services team. Working within an implementation team of Solution & Functional Consultants and Technical Architects, the Project Manager will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of Aforza implementations to our customers.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the VP of Professional Services, the Project Manager will:

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans and risk & issue registers.
• Manage project scope according to contractual commitments.
• Identify and manage scope changes and gain commercial agreement with the customer.
• Manage commercial budgets scrupulously.
• Apply methodology meticulously whilst adhering to contractual obligations.
• Contribute significantly to methodology & tooling development.
• Manage both Executive and Operational level stakeholder relationships.
• Strictly apply and adhere to project governance procedures covering reporting, Project & Steerco meetings and technical assurance activities.
• Identify and manage all risks & issues through to successful mitigation.
• Confident in running workshop sessions with customer teams.
• Equally comfortable managing a single large project or multiple small / medium sized projects simultaneously.
• Provide clear direction to project teams consisting of Solution Consultants, Technical Architects, Functional & Technical Consultants.
• Create satisfied and referenceable customers.
• Support a smooth transition from the Sales cycle into the Implementation phase; and from Implementation into Support.

Requirements

Ideally you are someone with:

• 10+ years in the software / services industry with a 4+ years in the role of Project Manager.
• A pragmatic and balanced attitude, able to consistently deliver successful outcomes for customers whilst supporting Aforza business goals.
• Extensive experience in the implementation of Enterprise B2B software, ideally cloud-based.
• Expert skills in project planning and the management of scope, budget, risk & issues.
• Experience working in managing customer facing projects as part of a Professional Services / Consulting team.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of stakeholder, including C-level.
• A track record of innovation, introducing processes and tooling to drive efficiencies into Implementations.
• A recognized Project Management qualification is desirable.
• Experience of the Consumer Goods industry is desirable but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of the Salesforce Force.com platform is desirable but not mandatory.
• Willingness to travel, although much of our project work is performed remotely.
• Strong team spirit and desire to work in a collaborative environment.
• Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
