Delivering Continued Innovation with Aforza Spring ‘21

Our Spring ‘21 release is packed full of innovation, with new capabilities across Trade Promotion Management, Visit Management, Retail Execution, Order Management and more.

All available automatically across both our online & offline mobile applications. In fact, over 300 new features have been released simultaneously to Aforza customers across 4 continents and 18 countries. A detailed overview of these capabilities can be found in our Spring ’21 release notes, but I wanted to call out some of the key areas that I’m most excited about.

Trade Promotion Management

• Create the perfect promotional calendar with enhanced group, sort and filter controls that give a very specific view of what promotions are running, how they are performing and any potential clashes.
• Receive proactive alerts on promotional clashes before they are launched.
• View promotional performance highlights directly from the calendar with key pieces of financial information across the base, predicted and actual revenues and margins.

Visit Management

• Visit and task recommendations, that leverage historical insights, are now displayed in the agenda builder when adding visits to the calendar.
• Easily swap the visit template used for a specific visit directly from the calendar view which then updates the recommended tasks.

Retail Execution

• Configurable audit types can now be created allowing you to define specific audit processes that are unique to your business requirements.
• Visit templates are now supported in the mobile application based on customer segmentation rules. Whenever a new visit is created, the tasks, duration, and notes will be automatically defined from the most relevant visit template.

Order Capture

• Products can now be automatically added to the cart when a corresponding product is added. Products can also be automatically deleted from the cart based on compatibility rules.
• This powerful feature supports adding the correct number of products to fit a piece of merchandise or adding recommended products automatically.

Offline Mobile Application

• Enhanced Tablet UI with new order capture and visit experience.
• New Quick Sync capability that will only upload new data or changes made in the application without downloading any updated data from Salesforce.
• Offline validation rule alignment means that validation rules set up in Salesforce will be automatically respected by the Aforza mobile application.
